Louisa West

Louisa Margaret Coleman West, age 73, passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at her home. Louisa was born on May 10, 1941 to her parents the late Joe Willie Coleman and Nicey Coleman Rife. She was the wife of the late Rell West, a homemaker, and a member of the Russell Prater Church. Along with her husband and parents, Louisa was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Scarberry and Imal Jean Nipper. Louisa is survived by one son, Ricky West, two daughters, Shirley Young, Carol Hamilton, one brother, Denny Coleman, five sisters, Betty Davis, Gay Rife, Glema Hall, Jackie Sykes, and Julie Dotson, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 5p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 11a.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
