Hazel Wright

Hazel M. Wright,age 84, passed away Wednesday Nov. 5, 2014 at her home. Hazel was born on August 3, 1930 to her parents the late Charles Minor and Bonnie Hurd Minor. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Wright, a homemaker, a member of the Praise Assembly Church in Prestonsburg, Ky., and a member of the Bristol Va. Senior Citizens Choir for many years. Along with her husband and parents, Hazel was preceded in death by one son, Steven Wright, two brothers and two sisters. Hazel is survived by one son, Barry (Sandy) Wright of Pikeville, three daughters, Elizabeth (Grady) Jones of Van Lear, Ky., Marta (Rick) Anderson of Pekin, Ind., Christy (Rick) Tackett of Flat Gap, Ky., ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral HOme. Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m. with J.M. Sloce officiating. Graveside service will be Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 at 1p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Cemetery in Surgoinsville, Tn.
