Gary Reed Osborne

Gary Reed Osborne, age 76, of Pikeville, Ky, passed away on Saturday, November, 23, 2014, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on September 13, 1938, the son of the late Joe and Florence Justice Osborne. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Osborne McNeil, and by two brothers, Burl Stevenson Osborne and Burnice Osborne. Gary was self employed and was a member of the Vogel Day United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Violet Coleman Osborne, by three sons, Gary Kent Osborne, Brett Reed (Kathy) Osborne and Bart Ronald (Deborah) Osborne, by seven grandchildren, and by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that will miss him and loved him dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dennis Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice & Adkins Cemetery at Elisha Fork, Pikeville.
