Jim Damron

Jim Damron, age 51, passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Jim was born on Dec. 7, 1962 to his parents the late Oscar Damron Jr. and Nellie Joyce Johnson Damron. He was the husband of Diana Smith Damron, self employed for Damron Services, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Damron. Along with his wife, Jim is survived by one son, Peyton Damron, one brother, Danny (Brenda) Damron, one sister, DeeDee (Doug) Brewer, sister in law, Patty (Gene) Slone, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Fred Klatka officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
