Melissa Hampton

Melissa Guawn Hampton, age 50, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Melissa was born on June 30, 1964 to her parents the late Floyd Johnson Jr. and Olgia Hamilton Troutner. She was the wife of Everett D. Hampton, and a waitress at Shoney's restaurant. Along with her parents, Melissa was preceded in death by one son, Michael Rodey, and one brother, Ricky Joe Johnson. In addition to her husband, Melissa is survived by two sons, Sean Rodey, Jordan Hampton, one daughter, Stephanie (Ben) Fisher, two brothers, James D. Arntz, Van Floyd Johnson, two sisters, Robin Johnson, Ovean Arntz, three grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at 6:30p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sam Casebolt officiating.
