Brenda Sue Urias

Brenda Sue Mutter Urias, age 60, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Brenda was born on Sept. 18, 1954 to her parents the late Gard Mutter and Peggy Hunt Mutter. She was a bookkeeper for Lindsey and Elliott Oil and Gas Company, and a member of the Shephard Memorial Church at Phelps. She also served her country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one brother, William Harry Mutter, and one sister,Betty Mutter. Brenda is survived by one son, Raul Torres Urias II, two daughters, Peggy Maria Urias, Erica Anne Urias, one brother, David Mutter, one sister, Norma Barker, two grandchildren, Makayla Jo Urias, Akyiah Zuri Urias, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mutter Family Cemetery at Phyllis, KY.
