Thomas Stewart Anderson

Thomas Stewart Anderson, age 67, passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at his home. Thomas was born on Oct. 17, 1947 to his parents the late Guessie Johnson Anderson and Gene Anderson. He was the husband of Patricia Russell Anderson, a disabled veteran, served in U.S. Army during Vietnam War, and a member of the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Irene Anderson, one brother, John Reuben Anderson, and one sister, Vonda Anderson. Along with his wife, Thomas is survived by one daughter, Mary Anderson- Collins, son in law, Gary Joe Collins, one granddaughter, Abigail J. Collins (Pap's Favorite), four brothers, Ira Edward "Lit" Anderson, Roger Daniel Anderson, Archie Moscoe Anderson, Floyd Joseph Anderson, two sisters, Sally Ellen Wright, Rita Joyce Riddle, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at 12 noon at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with Gary Joe Collins, Donnie Bryant, Jimmy Moore, Van Swindall, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Cable Hollow Cemetery at Dorton, Ky.
