Inez Sword

Inez Milam Sword, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Inez was born on January 6, 1926 to her parents the late Raymond Milam and Julie Harmon Milam. She was the wife of the late Victor Sword, a secretary, and a member of Buckfield Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Inez was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Linn Milam. Inez is survived by one son, Ronnie (Sandra) Sword, one granddaughter, Vicki Sword (David) Kirn, two brothers, Raymond Milam Jr., Joe Jack Milam, one sister, Rose Compton, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1p.m. with Morgan Chapman and Sam Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
