Ester Mullins

Ester Irene Mullins, age 82, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was born on April 18, 1932 to her parents the late Lee Cable and Julie Potter Cable. She was the wife of the late Clarence Mullins, self employed upholstery business, and a believer of the Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ester was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Ester is survived by one son, David (Sally) Mullins, two daughters, Joyce Johnson, Veronica (Jim) Long, one brother, George Cable, three sisters, Margie Rose, Icy Sowards, Avis Darnell, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Charles Nitchie and Robbie Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Family Cemetery at Dorton.
