Rondle Bowens

Alada Rondle Gene Bowens, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Prestonsburg Health Care Center. Rondle was born on March 14, 1946 to his parents the late Ervin Bowens and Fannie Goodman Bowens. He was the husband of the late Patricia Hughes Bowens, and a grounds keeper for the City of Pikeville. Along with his wife and parents, Rondle was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Bowens Mangrum, one sister, Belinda Robinson. Rondle is survived by one son, Alada Rondle Gene Bowens Jr., one daughter, Kavinda Bowens Coleman, one brother, Phebis Russell Bowens, three sisters, Joyce B. Damron, Dorothy B. Brown, Phyllis Sue Runion, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jeff Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky.
