Norma Jean Mammy Roberts

Norma Jean (Mammy) Roberts age 78 passed away Friday February 6,2015 at her residence. Norma was born November 25,1936 to her parents, the late Creed and Virgie Tackett. Norma was a retired cook for the Mountain Manor Nursing Home. Along with her parents Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kenneth Roberts, one son, Brett Roberts, two brothers, Cazzie Lee Roberts, Johnny Tackett, three sisters, Hester McPeek, Opal Schierman, Birdie Catron, two grandsons, Jason Maynor, Kenny Roberts. Norma is survived by two sons, Gregory Kenneth (Michele) Roberts, Patrick Lee Roberts, three daughters, Teresa Lynn Roberts, Donna Jean Roberts, Nila May Roberts, one sister, Margie Fleming, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Sunday February 8,2015 at the Penny Road Community Church at 6 p.m. Funeral will be Tuesday February 10,2015 at the Penny Road Community Church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Little Cemetery. Special Services will be Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
