Monetta Blankenship

Monetta Sue Blankenship, age 57, passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015 in Hardy, Ky. Monetta was born on Feb. 10, 1958 to her parents the late Kelly Baisden and Nell Hammond Baisden. She was the wife of the late Alan Ray Blankenship, a retired nurse's aide, and a member of the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church. Along with her husband and parents, Monetta was preceded in death by one son, David Michael Baisden, one brother, Leonard Baisden, and two sisters, Betty Baisden and Patricia Marcum. Monetta is survived by two brothers, Donnie (Sue) Baisden, Harrison (Kathryn) Baisden, two sisters, Mattie (Larry) Durham, Helen (Dwayne) Pinion, a special great nephew, Jacob Marcum, and a host of loving nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Chrch with Gary Dove and Roger Ooten officiating.
