Margie Robinson

Margie Orlean Prater Robinson, age 84, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at her home. Margie was born on April 9, 1930 to her parents the late Roy Prater and Ethel Coleman Prater. She was the wife of James Robinson, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Margie was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Billy James Prater, two sisters, Fay Smith and Mary Prater, and one infant child. Along with her husband, Margie is survived by three sons, Cliff (Emma) Robinson, Paul Adam (Angie) Robinson, Richard (Pat) Robinson, two daughters, Joyce (Roy) Bentley, Roberta Newsome, one brother, Jackie Wayne Prater, four sisters, Lettie Jane Hudecek, Claire Green, Peggy Sue Prater, Betty Jo Williams, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Claymon Adkins, Garfield Thacker, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
