Phillip Thacker

Phillip Thacker, age 48, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at his home. Phillip was born on July 31, 1966 to his parents Gloria Dean Stiltner Thacker and Harold Dean Thacker. He was a chemical inspector for Malco Eco Lab, a mason and a shriner, and a member of the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Phillip is survived by one brother, Harold Dewayne (Freeda) Thacker, three sisters, Dedra Lee (Gary) Johnson, Debra Lynn (Randy) Tackett, Darlene Dawn (Milton) Ellis, special niece Johaunna Faith Ellis, niece, Kayla Nicole Johnson, two nephews, Shawn Douglas Thacker, Matthew Austin Johnson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, March 2, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Ray Tackett, Oscar Damron, Nick Baldridge, Denny Little, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
