Bobby Dean Hopkins

Bobby Dean Hopkins, age 76,passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Marrowbone, Ky. Bobby was born on Nov. 12, 1938 to his parents the late Fred Hopkins and Ova Holland Hopkins. He was the husband of the late Ollie Mae Bowling Hopkins, a coal miner for Ben Coal Company, and a deacon for Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his wife and parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Gail Holbrook, Della Mae Anderson, two sisters, and four brothers. Bobby is survived by one son, Robert Lee (Linette) Hopkins, three daughters, Donna Marie (Gary Lee) Hall, DeAnna Louise Nguyen, Donielle Lea Adams, one sister, Cora Linda Justice, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowling Family Cemetery at Bowling Fork.
