Phyllis Tackett

Phyllis Ann Gannon Tackett, age 67, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Phyllis was born on January 18, 1948 to her parents the late Lawson Gannon and Ida Rife Gannon. She was the wife of the late Jonah Tackett, a homemaker, and a member of the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Gannon. Phyllis is survived by two brothers, McKinley Gannon, Teddy Gannon, and one sister, Ruth Gannon, and a host of loving nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church with Brad Williamson, Lester Morris, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Rife and Gannon Cemetery at Raccoon, Ky.
