Anna J. Reed

Anna J. Reed, age 75, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Anna was born on March 18, 1940 to her parents the late Lucian Jack Young and Roberta Burris Young. She was the wife of Rabon Reed, a mgr and bookkeeper for the Pikeville Airport, a member of the Eastern Starr, and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Anna was preceded in death by one son, Russell (Rusty) Reed, one brother, James Young, and one sister, Dixie Williamson. Along with her husband, Anna is survived by two daughters, Pamela Reed Mann, Teressa Reed Whisman, one brother, Blake Young, five grandchildren, Jennifer, Johnathan, Rebekah, Dakota, and Alex, and five great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Sam Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
