Margie Alice Hunt

Margie Alice Hunt, age 72, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home. Margie was born on July 24, 1942 to her parents the late Earl Woodrow Abbott and Gladys Renee Abbott. She was the wife of Billy Hunt, a homemaker and a member of the Edo Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Margie was preceded in death by one son, Billy Ronald Hunt, one daughter, Ethel Kathlene Hunt, two brothers, Willard & Carl Abbott, and one sister, Bertie Stump. Along with her husband, Margie is survived by one son, Donald Ray (Barbara) Hunt, two daughter in laws, Jeannie Hunt & Amy Hunt, two sisters, Hester Farmer, Thelma Gene Abbott, four brothers, Edward Lee Abbott, Harold Abbott, James Abbott, Larry Wayne Abbott, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Edo Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Edo Freewill Baptist Church with Gary Thacker and Brad Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Family Cemetery.
