Michael Elliott

Michael (Mickey) Patterson Elliott Jr., age 77, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Michael was born on March 22, 1938 to his parents the late Michael Patterson Elliott Sr. and Julia Ann Wright Elliott. He was the husband of the late Margaret Blackburn Elliott, a self employed Elliott's Grocery, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with his wife and parents, Michael was preceded in death by one sister, Delores (John Paul) Blair. Michael is survived by one daughter, Michaelle Paige Elliott of Phyllis, Ky., two sisters, Colleen Merrithew-Gromer of Grand Blanc, Mi., Patricia Ann Huffman of Shelbyville, Ky., and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with David Johnson and Arnold Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
