Troy Bryant

Troy Bryant, age 82, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at his home. Troy was born on June 24,1932 to his parents the late Alfred Bryant and Nellie Rogers Bryant. He was the husband of Buncie Compton Bryant, a truck driver for Branham Lumber Company, and a member of Voice of Victory Revivals Church. Along with his parents, Troy was preceded in death by three sisters, Lacy Spears, Macy Newsome, Bertha Hall, two brothers, Benny Bryant, Perry Bryant (Infant) one great grandson, James Matthew Hamilton. Along with his wife, Troy is survived by one son, Troy Gene Bryant, one daughter, Mary Lou Potter, two brothers, Dewey Bryant, Arlin Bryant, four sisters, Dixie Rogers, Leona Marrs, Justine Prater, Frankie Adams, two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Donnie Hall and Greg White officiating. Burial will follow in hte Damron Fleming Cemetery at Jonancy, Ky.
