James Howard Simpson

James Howard Simpson, age 63, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his home. James was born on August 9, 1951 to his parents the late Harold Donald Simpson and Garnett Faye Damron Simpson. He was the husband of the late Brenda Sue Carter Simpson, retired from the U.S. Army, and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with his wife and parents, James was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tyler Thacker, and Hannah Simpson. James is survived by two sons, Hank (Robin) Simpson, Jimmy (Misty) Simpson, one daughter, Dusty (Mike) Charles, one brother, Robert Alan Simpson, seven grandchildren, Hank Jordan (Megan) Simpson, Dustin Dewayne (Mariah) Charles, Luke Nicholas Simpson, Trinity Michael Deboard, Drew Charles, Shelby Lynn Simpson, Abigail Cheyenne Simpson, one great grandchild, Wyatt Jordan Simpson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The Funeral will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery.
