Thurman Johnson

Thurman Johnson age 75 passed away Friday June 12,2015 at Rock castle Regional and Respiratory Care. Thurman was born June 22,1939 to his parents the late Homer and Lula Burke Johnson. Thurman was a coal miner and later and mine inspector, and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Thurman is survived by his wife, Janet Martin Johnson, one daughter, Denise Compton, son-in-law, Jeff Compton, one granddaughter, Martha Paige Newsom and host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Sunday June 14,2015 from 12 noon till 2 pm at the Lucas and son Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 2 pm after visitation. Burial will be at Johnson Memorial Park.
