Eartha Bartley

Eartha Bartley, age 90, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at her home. Eartha was born on Dec. 13, 1924 to her parents the late Kenis Mitchell and Dora Newsome Mitchell. She was the wife of the late Conley Bartley, a homemaker, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Eartha was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Bentley, two sons, Joe Bartley, Troy Douglas Bartley, six brothers, Cecil, Curtis, Arthur, & Christopher Mitchel,Arnold & Robert Reynolds. Eartha is survived by one son, Willie Bartley, two daughters, Emogene Bartley, Patty Wilson, one sister, Ida Mitchell, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Rob Newsome Cemetery at Little Robinson Creek.
