Betty Ann Young

Betty Ann Young age 80, passed away Thursday June 25, 2015 in Louisville, at Norton Health Care Center. Betty was born on Dec. 13, 1934 to her parents the late Winn Burchette and Hazel James. She was the wife of the late Carl Kenneth Young, a retired bookkeeper for United Coal Company, and a member of the Long Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by one sister, Audria Mae Elkins. Betty is survived by one daughter, Carlette (Charles L.) Stalker, six grandchildren, Gregory Kiser, Sarah Spears, Brandy Tackett, Charles R. Stalker, Michael W. Kiser, Andrew Stalker, five great-grandchildren, Justin Kiser, Evan Kiser, Preston Tackett, Gabriel Kiser, Matthew Spears, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Greg White officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
