Joy Louise Varney

Joy Louise Varney, age 23, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Joy was born on Feb. 24, 1992 to her parents Joe Edward Varney and Barbara Jean Adkins Varney. She worked in central scheduling at Pikeville Medical Center. Joy was preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Ann Varney. Along with her parents, Joy is survived by one brother, Billy (Linda) Young, three sisters, Tracy Hall, Jody (Danny) Conn, Carmella (Tolbert) Ratliff, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Keith Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
