Brendail Causey

Brendail Causey, age 67, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Brendail was born on March 2, 1948 to his parents the late Floyd Causey and Lurlie Robinson Causey. He was the husband of Rita Yates Causey, a retired coal miner, and a deacon at Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Brendail was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Causey, three infant sisters, Patricia, Maxine, and Ruth Faye Causey. Along with his wife, Brendail is survived by two sons, Steven (Melissa) Causey, Aaron (Robyn) Causey, two brothers, Leon & Roy Causey, four sisters, Ina Mae Yates, Deloris Gaye Thacker, Marlene Adkins, Donna Jean Innis, two grandchildren, Ashleigh Causey, Isabella Causey, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Reed Adkins and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
