Geneva May

Geneva Anderson May, age 68, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Geneva was born on Feb. 23, 1947 to her parents the late Estil Anderson and Gladys Trout Anderson. Geneva was the wife of ther late Paul Richard May, a homemaker, and a believer of the Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Geneva was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters. Geneva is survived by one son, Christopher Paul (Lisa) May, one sister, Carol Faye Matney, two grandchildren, Danny May & Keely May, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday Thursday and Friday at 6p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Church services will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Daniel Newell, Luke Newell, and Dwayne Abshire officiating. Burial will follow in the Varney Family Cemetery at Raccoon.
