Grace Mullins

Grace Mullins, age 82, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her home. Grace was born on April 28, 1933 to her parents the late Merda Layne and Bessie Griffey Layne. She was the wife of the late Alvis Mullins Sr., a homemaker, and a member of the Phyllis Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents Grace was preceded in death by one son, Alvis Mullins Jr., three sisters, and five brothers. Grace is survived by five daughters, Darlene Mullins, Deborah Smith, JoAnn Clark, Belinda Allen, Lana Hughes, one sister, Joyce Workman, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday July 18, 2015 at the Phyllis Church of Christ with Chester Ray Varney and Buddy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Mutter Family Cemetery at Phyllis.
