Ruby J. Bevins

Ruby J. Bevins, age 89, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Signature Health Care Center. Ruby was born on August 20, 1926 to her parents the late William McKinley Justice and Ibbie Elizabeth Smith Justice. Ruby was the wife of the late Grady Bevins, a homemaker, and a member of the Chloe Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Ruby was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Everett "Dr.Don" Bevins, Larry Dean Bevins, and one great grandchild, Austin Bevins. Ruby is survived by three sons, James Grady (Pat) Bevins, William "Bill" (Carla) Bevins, Ronald (Rita) Bevins, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday August 31, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Chloe Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Bob Justice and others officiating. Burial will be at the Bevins Family Cemetery at Upper Chloe.
