Shirley Mae Anderson

Shirley Mae Keene Anderson, age 79, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her home. Shirley was born on March 7, 1936 to her parents the late Dewey Keene and Minnie Keene. She was the wife of the late Freddie Eugene Anderson, a retired nurse for Pikeville Methodist Hospital, and a member of the Phyllis Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers, Berkley Keene, Robert Keene, one granddaughter, Crystal Ratliff Huffman. Shirley is survived by two sons, Steve (Barbara) Ratliff, Harold (Genevieve) Stiltner, three daughters, Pamela Gail (Charles) Thompson, Rebecca Eugenia (Bill) Bevins, Amanda Rachel (Brad) Harrison, five brothers, Roger, Donnie, Johnny, Gary, and Jerry Keene, two sisters, Betty Weaver and Patricia Keene, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Phyllis Church of Christ. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Phyllis Church of Christ with Jim Abshire, Dewayne Abshire, and Buddy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Keene Family Cemetery at Phyllis.
