Monte Lee Grimes

Monte Lee Grimes age 62,passed away Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015 at his home. Monte was born on Dec. 18, 1952 to his parents the late Bruce Grimes and Dorothy Woodruff Grimes. He was the husband of Paula Compton Grimes. Along with his wife, Monte is survived by two daughters, Lainie (Kyle) Gunderson, Stefanie Grimes, one brother, Terry (Karen) Grimes, three sisters, Bruce Ann (Lee) Ferguson, Carol (Scott) Engdahl, Mary Duddy, three grandchildren, Taylor Grimes, Kylie Gunderson, Devin Grimes, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday 6p.m. to 9p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Mike Sanders and Sam Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
