Rodney Elswick

Rodney Elswick age 46 passed away Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Rodney was born on Jan. 27, 1969 to his parents Daniel Elswick and the late Lorraine Wright Elswick. Rodney worked at Lowe's and was a member of the Dorton General Baptist Church. Along with his mother, Rodney was preceded in death by one infant brother, Keith Elswick, and one niece, Brylee Grace Elswick. Along with his father. Rodney is survived by two brothers, Matthew (Bridgett) Elswick, Jamie (Brittany) Elswick, one niece, Hillary Elizabeth Elswick, three nephews, Peyton Elswick, Grayson Elswick, Brayden Elswick, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 16, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with old regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery at Dorton.
