Billy Edward Bentley

Billy Edward Bentley, age 75, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Billy was born on July 24, 1940 to his parents the late Jimmy C. Bentley and Stella C. Damron Bentley. Billy was the husband of the late Juanita Tackett Bentley, a coal miner for Bailey Mining Company, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his wife and parents, Billy was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Coleman, four brothers, Leon, George Melvin, Ronald, & Donald Bentley. Billy is survived by one daughter, Carolyn (Tony) Kent, two brothers, Kermit Bentley, Curtis Bentley, three sisters, Nona Breland, Molly Osobrne, Betty Hobson, four grandchildren, Jordan Coleman, Brittany Coleman, Kayleigh Kent, Cassidy Kent, two great-grandchildren, Leland & Waylon, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Little Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Jimmy Bentley Cemetery at Little Creek.
