Georgia F. Taylor

Georgia F. Taylor, age 81, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015 at the Morristown Hamblen Hospital in Morristown, Tn. Georgia was born on Feb. 24, 1934 to her parents the late Bert Hamilton and Opal Newsome Hamilton. Georgia was the wife of Don Taylor and was a retired employee for the C.A.P. office. Along with her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her first husband, Duran France and one infant son, Rex. In addition to her husband, Georgia is survived by one daughter, Colleen Susie (Gary) Damron, two sons, Bert D. (Carol) France, Marty (Teresa) France, three step children, Connie Glen Taylor, Donna Lynn (James) Bryant, Bradley (Pamela) Taylor, three half sisters, Betty Roberts, Juanita Blair, Edna Clark, one step sister, Ann McCown Coleman, seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Mausoleum.
