Geneva Hill Hylton,age 86, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Geneva was born on May 24, 1929 to her parents the late Elzia Hill and May Adkins Hill Hylton. She was the wife of the late Paul Hylton, a homemaker, and a member of the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her step father, Jim Hylton, one brother, Ruben Hill, and one sister, Eva Adkins Burke. Geneva is survived by one daughter, Paula (Elmer) Coleman, one grandson, John Thomas Brown Jr., four brothers, Leroy Hill, Bud Ray Hill, Ray Hylton, Kermeal Hylton, three sisters, Eloise Rowe, Lorean Adkins, and Nella Jean Stanley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Rockhouse Unity Freewill Baptist Church with Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
