Ethel Damron

Ethel Mae Damron, age 76, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the St. Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born on June 25, 1939 to her parents the late Elmer Tackett and Arizona Bryant Tackett. She was the wife of the late Farlon Damron, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ethel was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Ethel is survived by one daughter, Neva (Barry) Knight, one brother, Carl Tackett, one sister, Madeline Newsome, one grandson, Brandon (Alisha Slatton) Knight, one great grandchild, Gracie Slatton, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 10a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cleveland Tackett Cemetery at Little Robinson Creek.
