Ina Mae Yates

Ina Mae Yates, age 81, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at her home. Ina was born on Feb. 2, 1934 to her parents the late Floyd Causey and Lurley Robinson Causey. She was the wife of the late Garlen Yates, a homemaker, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Ina was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Willis Yates and Cornelius Yates, and several brothers and sisters. Ina Mae is survived by one son, Jeffrey (Angela) Yates, five daughters, Jenny (Nuddy) Adkins, Yvonne (Don) Coleman, Teresa Lynn (Johnny) Yates, Darlene (Kenneth) Yates, Debbie Walker Yates, two brothers, Leon & Roy Causey, three sisters, Deloris Gay Thacker, Marlene Adkins, Donna Jean Innis, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, October 29, 2015, at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Mary Yates Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
