Sammie Brooks

Sammie Brooks,age 85, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at the Parkview Nursing Home. Sammie was born on Sept. 22, 1930 to her parents the late Sam Little and Virgie Newsome Little. She was the wife of the late Herman Brooks, a homemaker, and a member of the Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Sammie was preceded in death by one son, Blake McCoy. Sammie is survived by two sisters, Jackie Robinson, Georgia Tackett, and a host of loving family and friends. There will be a private family funeral.
