Josephine Damron Stewart, age 85, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center. Josephine was born on Feb. 15, 1930 to her parents the late Richard Damron and Rebecca Adkins Damron. She was the wife of the late Clancy Stewart, dietary supervisor for Pikeville Medical Center, and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with her husband and parents, Josephine was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Stewart, six brothers, and four sisters. Josephine is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Chester) Roberts, Teresa (Ronald) Reynolds, one brother, Clifford (Molly) Damron, one sister, Bertha Newsome, four grandchildren, Valerie (Robert) Fielding, Marty Roberts, Ronda (James) Taylor, Matthew Reynolds, two great-grandchildren, Isaac Fielding and Joseph Fielding, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Amos Newsom Cemetery at Little Robinson.
