Barbara Kendrick

Barbara Jean Kendrick, age 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Barbara was born on August 3, 1932 to her parents the late Ballard Justice and Roxie Goff Justice. She was a homemaker and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Danny Kendrick, one brother, Kenneth Justice, and one sister, Rita Justice. Barbara is survived by three sons, Donald, Jessie, & Harold Kendrick, three daughters, Teresa Kendrick, Pamela Adkins, Linda Bentley, four brothers, Ballard Junior Justice, Claude Justice, Doug Justice, Foster Justice, five sisters, Francis Charles, Patty Collins, Lena Newsome, Ruth Justice, and Odell Justice, nine grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday Nov. 28, 2015 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery.
