Larry Douglas Goodson

Larry Douglas Goodson, age 77, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 at his home. Larry was born on June 22, 1938 to his parents the late Victor Goodson and Nellie Fleming Goodson. Larry was the husband of Randy Chaffins Goodson, a coal miner and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Lynn Goodson, and one brother, Gary Goodson. Along with his wife, Larry is survived by two daughters, Linda (Eddie) Gilley, Sherry (Randall) Mullins, one son, Jeff (Teresa) Goodson, two brothers, Jerry & Donald Goodson, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with George Bellamy officiating.
