Stella Norman

Stella Norman, age 87, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 30, 1928 to her parents the late Burl Skeens and Nona Sawyers Skeens. She was a homemaker and a member of the Freedom Bible Church at Johns Creek. Along with her parents, Stella was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Stella is survived by one daughter, Pauline Hayton, two grandchildren, Jennifer Hall, Lisa Stanley, three great grandchildren, Olivia Hall, Ella Stanley, Sarah Stanley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 4p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Roger Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
