Roberta Osborne

Roberta V. Osborne, age 85, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Roberta was born on Nov. 21, 1930 to her parents the late Oscar Greer and Lorena Wright Greer. She was a retired teacher's aide for the Pike County Board of Education and a member of Faith Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Along with her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by one son, John Osborne. Roberta is survived by one son, Paul Osborne, three daughters, Linda Osborne, Mary Tenbrink, Cheryl Zoltac, one brother, Ralph Greer, eight sisters, Orbenia Burgess, Charlotte Johnson, JoAnn Brassell, Leah Barrow, Donna Dreher, Portia Horne, Wilma Tucker, Rena Jean Osborne, seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Tim Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery at Brushy.
