Lonnie Kinney

Lonnie Kinney, age 66, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington. Lonnie was born on Jan. 16, 1949 to his parents the late Hetsel Kinney and Cora Damron Kinney. He was the husband of the late Jennifer Elswick Kinney, a disabled Veteran, and a believer of the baptist faith. Along with his wife and parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by two sons, Jackson Kinney and Orbin Kinney, and one brother, Louie Kinney. Lonnie is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Connie) Kinney Jr., Matthew Kinney, two grandchildren, Danielle Evans, Allyson Kinney, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery.
