Roger Adkins

Roger Adkins, age 61, of Fords Branch, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016, at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Nell Ruth Adkins and the late Hiram Adkins. Roger was a self employed residential contractor and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his mother, Roger is also survived by two sons, Adam Blaze Adkins and Andrew Dylan Adkins, by a brother, Richard Adkins and by three sisters, Jacqueline (Ron) Slone, Liz (Dickie) Van Hoose and Sandra (Chris) Adkins, a special friend, Sherry Huff. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.Visitation will also be Friday at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Roger Hicks and Richard Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Adkins Cemetery at Fords Branch.
