Anna Lee Mitchell

Anna Lee Roberts Mitchell, age 85, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at her home. Anna was born on Dec. 12, 1930 to her parents the late Dave Roberts and Bertha Hall Roberts. She was the wife of the late Garland Mitchell, a homemaker, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Anna was preceded in death by one son, Garland Gene Mitchell. Anna is survived by two sons, Gary Mitchell, Larry (Brenda) Mitchell, seven daughters, Sandra (John) Corbin, Brenda (Allen) Profitt, Debra (Jim) Thomas, Kathy (Elvis) Keene, Mary (Danny) Harris, Nikkie (Billy) Coleman, Stephanie (Shannon) Little, five brothers, Homer, Chester, Thomas, Bennie, & Jerry Roberts, two sisters, Edith Johnson, Judy Younce, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Fred Klatka officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery at Sookey's Creek.
