Mary Compton

Mary Carol Adams Compton, age 61, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 at her home. Mary was born on Sept. 22, 1954 to her parents the late Verdia Adams and Dicey Marie Slone Adams. She was the wife of Franklin Compton, a homemaker, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her husband, Mary is survived by one sister, Judy Liddell, two brothers, William Adams, Verdia Lee Adams, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton officiating. The burial will follow in the Elkins and Crum Cemetery at Coal Run, Ky.
