Barry Singleton, age 68, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Barry was born on March 8, 1947 to his parents the late J.C. Singleton and Pauline Poe Singleton. He was the husband of Joetta S. Thacker Singleton, owner and operator of Carpet World, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Lancaster, Ohio, and a member of the Faith First Baptist Church at Regina. Along with his parents, Barry was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Singleton. Along with his wife, Barry is survived by one son, Command Master Chief (AW/SW)Donald "Skip" (Teresa)Singleton U.S. Navy, of Silverdale, Wa., Elizabeth "Libby" (Tim) Kerns of Santa Clause, Indiana, two step children, Tim (Kelley) Coleman of Etna, Ohio, Terry (James) Dameron of Knoxville, Tn., ten grandchildren, Tennille Ratliff, Brandon Little, Crystal Alward, Kyle Coleman, Brooke Singleton, Taylor Singleton, Dalton Myers, Jordan Isaacs, Michael Adams, Elka Long, six great grandchildren, Olivia Alward, Delila Little, Dylan Alward, Cory Horn, Leonardo and Christian Lang, one brother, two sisters, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday Feb. 20, 2016 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
