Linda Charles

Linda L. Charles, age 70, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Linda was born on March 1, 1945 to her parents the late Grover Charles and Anna Mae Carnes Charles. She was the wife of James Charles, a retired cook for Pikeville College, and a member of the House of Prayer and Worship. Along with her husband, Linda is survived by two sons, James Charles, Michael Charles, one brother, Lloyd (Patty) Charles, three grandchildren, Bradley Charles, James Nicholas Charles, and Rebecca Skidmore, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday Feb. 24, 2016 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Billy Compton, Donnie Hall, and Bud Crum officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice-Kinder Cemetery at Upper Chloe.
