Mary Jo Lowe

Mary Jo Lowe, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at her home. Mary was born on May 31, 1945 to her parents the late Willie Whitely and Edna Dunn Whitely. She was the wife of Dewey Lowe, a homemaker, and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Kazy Whitely, and one grandson, John Rex Lowe. Along with her husband, Mary Jo is survived by two sons, Todd (Michelle) Lowe, Toney Lowe, two brothers, Billy (Gaye) Whitely, Delmar (Marlean) Whitely, four sisters, Dee (Don) Reed, Margie (Windell) Hunt, Elizabeth Richmond, Loretta Perkins, five grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday March 5, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jim Patton officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky.
